PROGRAMS, EVENTS AND CALENDAR
1. ACTIVE PROGRAMS-AGAPE SHILOH MINISTRY(A.S.M) CHURCH PROGRAMS
A. IMPACT OF WORD,PRAYER & FELLOwSHIP
Currently we have the following key church activities
- Wednesdays-Counseling & Prayer session -from 9Am
- Thursdays – home fellowships From 11Am-12:30Pm
- Fridays -corporate prayer in the church-From 5Pm-6PM
- Saturdays youth meetings(2PM-3PM) and choir practice.(3PM-4PM)
- Sundays, first service(9AM-10AM) and main service(10AM-12:30PM)
- Volleyball-first & third surtardays of the Month(10AM-12PM)
- Last friday of every month-Night Prayer vigils from 9PM-5AM
In all these meetings, members pray, read the word, worship and share their challenges. It is also a platform to recognize, train and perfect their spiritual gifts.
B. IMPACT OF VOLLEYBALL TO YOUTH, CHILDREN AND THE CHURCH AT LARGE.
We have a volleyball team composed of church teens. They meet and practice/play with other non christian youths on Saturdays just before their meeting in the afternoon. This provides a practical golden opportunity to share the word of God with them. While discipling the church youth, we evangelize the ones who are not yet born again. This has resulted in increase of youths in church. This has also attracted many children and preteens who also join them as a cheering squad and as a result hearing the word. The increase in these teens and children has been a great beacon of hope not just in today’s church attendance, but also as a future of the church.
C. IMPACT OF CHURCH BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION
Through Carepoint the church is now half complete. From fellowshipping inside a small public primary classroom, we are now under a church hall, with a capacity of 400 people. This has attracted many people from the neighbouring community to fellowship with
2. PROPOSED PROGRAMS
a. Immediate Proposed Programs
i. Completion of church and other related amenities within church compound
ii. Open air crusades and missions
We trust God that we will be having one big crusade and one big mission (conference) after every month
iii. Growth of preschool and orphanage
We already registered Carepoint Fountain Schools which is in line with the constitution of our organization. This gives us a pathway to reach, rehabilitate, feed, shelter, educate, evangelize and holistically rescue and equip the vulnerable children.
iv. Feeding, clothing and housing programs for the elderly
Some older people are abandoned and they lack food, and other crucial items like soap and clothing. Some even have no place to live. Doing these acts of mercy will not just restore their dignity but also open more financial doors.
v.Acts of mercy to Cross Power Childrens Home,which is close to our church
We entered into an agreement with the administration that they will fellowship in our church on Sunday. This is not just increasing the teens and youth membership, but also providing an opportunity to interact with teens and youth from our A.S.M church.
